What kind of champagne should I use for mimosas?

The dryer, the better! In order to balance out the champagne and the orange juice, you’ll want something that is dry or semi-dry. A few options to consider include cava, prosecco, and brut.

Can I use vodka or another type of alcohol?

You sure can! While champagne is traditional, you can also use other types of alcohol such as vodka. Since mimosas are intended to be consumed during the day, do keep in mind the alcohol content. Plan accordingly if you opt for harder alcohol.

What kind of glasses should I use?

There are a variety of champagne glasses available to use! Some great options for you to consider are Champagne flutes, the stemless flute glasses, and shatterproof plastic flute glasses (which are great for a crowd at parties!).

What is the best way to make mimosas for a crowd?

The absolute best way is to prepare the rims and then leave the orange juice, champagne, and grenadine out for your guests to serve themselves. (This will preserve the carbonation from the champagne the best.)

The easiest way, however, is to premix it in a large pitcher. That way, all your guests need to do is pour a glass! Just make sure to keep it cold throughout your party. You can even experiment by placing cut-up fruit in the bottom and using different juices to give a special touch (and to give everyone options!).
