Tips for No Bake Halloween Desserts

  • Plan ahead. No-bake, easy Halloween desserts still need time to set. So, plan accordingly.
  • Prep your ingredients. Have everything set up and ready to go. It is especially helpful when working with melted chocolate!
  • Line your pans. Your treats will need a place to rest and set, and parchment paper or a silicone mat will help prevent sticking.
  • Work in batches. This is key when working with melting wafers, melting chocolate, or when a filling needs to stay chilled to keep solid.
  • Stock up on the basics. Marshmallows, Oreos, sprinkles, candy corn, pretzels, candy googly eyes, and white chocolate chips or candy melts are usually a safe bet.
  • Make edible gifts. Find cute tags, ribbons, cellophane wrapping, or containers. So many of these treats can be kept at room temperature for days and make great gifts.
