Grinch Bark - only 4 ingredients

Grinch Bark is a festive green and white Christmas bark recipe topped with red hearts and green sprinkles.

Made with only 4 simple ingredients, it really doesn’t get any easier than this!

The recipe is great to have the kids help make. Like Reindeer Bark and Melted Snowman Bark, the kids will love helping spread the melted candy on the baking sheet, top it with sprinkles, and break the bark apart.

Ingredients

This section includes ingredient notes and substitution options. Get all measurements, ingredients, and instructions in the printable recipe card at the end of this post.

Ghirardelli White vanilla melting wafers, Wilton vibrant green candy melts, green sprinkles, red heart sprinkles
  • White Melting Wafers – I used Ghiradelli brand, but you can use any white melting wafers. Almond bark or white candy melts work too.
  • Vibrant Green Candy Melts – Can be found in the baking aisle of some grocery or craft stores, or online.
  • Green Sprinkles – I used bright green jimmies
  • Heart Sprinkles – I used small red heart sprinkles but next time I think I may use these larger ones. This sprinkles mix has a great combo of red hearts and green sprinkles.

How to Make Grinch Bark

This section shows you how to make the recipe with step-by-step photos and instructions. For the full printable recipe, see the recipe card below.

Step 1: Add the white vanilla wafers to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring well between each, until melted (this should take 90-120 seconds total).

Step 2: Pour the white melted candy onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and use a spatula to smooth it into a thin, even layer. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the candy to harden.

Step 3: Melt the green candy melts in the microwave, following the same process as you did with the white wafers in step 2. Pour the melted green candy over the white candy, smoothing it into an even layer with a spatula.

Step 3: Refrigerator for at least 90 minutes to set. The bark is ready when it easily peels off the parchment paper.
