Christmas Cookie Dip is a fun and festive dessert dip made with cream cheese, whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and sprinkles. It is packed with classic Christmas sugar cookie taste and tastes amazing paired with pretzels or fruit for dipping.

Since this Christmas dessert dip is egg-free and flour-free, you can enjoy it worry-free–unlike actual raw cookie dough.

Or better yet, all of the above 🙂

This section includes ingredient notes and substitution options. Get all measurements, ingredients, and instructions in the printable recipe card at the end of this post.

bowl of powdered sugar, bowl of vanilla extract, bowl of heavy whipping cream, bowl of christmas sprinkles, 8 ounce block of great value cream cheese
  • cream cheese
  • powdered sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • heavy whipping cream
  • christmas sprinkles

How to Make

  1. Whip the heavy whipping cream to form whipped cream. Set aside.
  2. Mix to combine cream cheese and vanilla. Add powdered sugar slowly, a little at a time, mixing until combined. Fold in whipped cream and spinkles.
  3. Serve immediately, with cookies, pretzels, fruit, etc… for dipping.

Storage

Store in an airtight container for up to three days.

I actually prefer cookie dough dips when served chilled, as they have a firm consistency that makes them taste even more like cookie dough (at least to me). But if you prefer a softer and creamier dip, remove it from the fridge and let it sit on the countertop for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Hi, this dip looks delicious & easy, which is my favorite! Could I substitute Cool Whip for the heavy whipping cream? Thanks!

I haven’t tried the recipe with a sugar substitute myself but I don’t see why it would be an issue. Please let us know how it comes out if you decided to try it 🙂
