How to Make Blueberry Delight

No need to turn on your oven for this blueberry delight recipe.

Just mix together the ingredients for each layer and add them to your baking dish!

But first, gather your ingredients.

Blueberry Yum Yum Ingredients

For this recipe you will need:

  • sugar
  • melted butter
  • cream cheese
  • powdered sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • crushed graham crackers
  • Cool Whip
  • blueberry pie filling

(Get the ingredient measurements and full recipe below in the printable recipe card)

Blueberry Lasagna Dessert

  1. Graham cracker crust: Combine crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of your pan and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Cream cheese layer: Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and half the Cool Whip to create a cheesecake-like filling. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of the crust.
  3. Blueberry layer: Add a layer of blueberry pie filling.
  4. Whipped topping: Top with remaining Cool Whip. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

For best results, make this dessert the night before you want to serve it and refrigerate overnight. That way it is well chilled and the flavors have maximum time to incorporate.

If you don’t have time for an overnight chill, no worries. I can assure you that it is still incredible after just a 2-hour chill.

Wyour recipes look delicious and things I will make. Could you please giive us the complete nutritional guide. I’m diabetic and need to know the carbs, per slice, I only eat 1/3rd of a slice a night so I need to calculate my intake.

To be honest, while I do try to add a calorie count to each of my recipes, it is only anestimate calculated by a third-party app. The exact nutritional information will really depend on the brand of ingredients that you use. For example, cans of blueberry pie filling can vary on number of carbs per serving. I would recommend using an app to calculate the nutritional information using your specific ingredients.

I sub the sugar with splenda. I make my own pie filling using frozen blueberries. I sweetne it with splenda also. Really cuts the carbs.

With the cream cheese blueberry mixture, would it be good over angel food cake? I’m not a fan of the Graham cracker type crust.

I think that Angel food cake would be too soft for the cream cheese and blueberry pie filling layers. However, a shortbread crust would be great with this recipe.

Recipe sounds yummy. I’m going to try it with a crushed pretzel layer instead of the graham crackers. I like a little salty with the sweet.

How long do you think I can store this in the fridge before serving it?

I would suggest making it the night before serving for best results. But you could do to nights in a pinch.

You can use 5 cups of homemade blueberry pie filling instead of the using the canned kind if you prefer.
