Who doesn't love fudge?
I think fudge is basically the ultimate treat when it comes to indulging my sweet tooth!
Today I have a sweet and creamy red, white, and blue fudge recipe to share with you all.
With the 4th of July only a few weeks away I have been on a red white and blue desserts kick lately. Coming up with new and unique 4th of July treats is so much fun, and helps to get the family in the patriotic spirit for the 4th of July.
Red White and Blue Fudge Ingredients & Supplies
Start by gathering your ingredients and supplies.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5 oz evaporated milk
- 2 cups marshmallow creme
- 8 oz white chocolate chips
- red and blue food coloring
You will also need either a glass or silicone baking pan. We used an 8 inch dish but a 9 inch would be fine to use as well.
Also, you will need non-stick cooking spray to lightly grease your baking dish with so that your fudge slides out easily.
If you are using a glass baking dish, I would recommend that you line it with parchment paper and use non-stick spray as well — just to be safe. For a silicone pan you can use a light coating of non-stick spray and skip the parchment paper. We used a silicone mold and sprayed it lightly with a coat of non-stick spray and the fudge popped right out!

How to Make Red White and Blue Fudge
As you will see, this 4th of July fudge starts as your basic marshmallow creme fudge recipe.
Start by bringing the butter, sugar, and evaporated milk to a light boil, and allow to boil for 5 additional minutes while stirring continuously.
Then, add the white chocolate chips and marshmallow creme.
Now is the part where things get fun.
Divided the mixture into 3 parts. Use food coloring to color one red, one blue, and leave one white.
Next, layer the mixture into the pan one color at a time.
Allow the fudge to set, then slice it up and serve it to your lucky guests. Yum!
Great for Other Holidays As Well
You could switch up the colors you are using and make this fudge recipe for other holidays too. Red and green fudge is great for Christmas. Blue and white fudge is a perfect Hanukkah treat. And don't forget green fudge for St. Patrick's Day.
