- Vodka – regular or whipped cream flavor vodka are both great for this shot recipe
- Pumpkin puree + pumpkin spice – gives the shots their pumpkin pie flavor
- Sugar – adds sweetness to the otherwise savory shots
- Heavy whipping cream – makes the shots creamy like pumpkin pie
- Whipped cream & pumpkin candies – to top the shots with just before serving
How to Make Pumpkin Jello Shots

- In a medium saucepan, dissolve gelatin in water over medium heat.
- Mix in pumpkin, sugar, and pumpkin spice, whisking until fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in vodka and heavy whipping cream.
- Pour into shot glasses and allow to sit for 20 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate until fully set (at least 4 hours).
- Top with whipped cream and pumpkin candies before serving and enjoy!

Recipe Tips
- Make your pumpkin jello shots the night before your party or event so that they will have plenty of time to set.
- Place your jello shots in a baking pan for easy carrying to and from the fridge for chilling.
- This recipe yields enough for 12 (2-ounce) plastic jello shot cups. If you are using large glass shooters (as shown) the recipe will only make enough for about 4.
- Use a disposable foil baking pan and disposable 2 oz cups for easy party transport and clean-up.
- If using glass shot glasses you will need to eat the pumpkin shots with a spoon, or run a knife or spoon around the jello to loosen it from the glass before taking it.
- Not sure what to do with that leftover pumpkin puree? Make pumpkin cookies, pumpkin roll cake, or chocolate chip pumpkin bread.
