Recipe Tips

  • Make your pumpkin jello shots the night before your party or event so that they will have plenty of time to set.
  • Place your jello shots in a baking pan for easy carrying to and from the fridge for chilling.
  • This recipe yields enough for 12 (2-ounce) plastic jello shot cups. If you are using large glass shooters (as shown) the recipe will only make enough for about 4.
  • Use a disposable foil baking pan and disposable 2 oz cups for easy party transport and clean-up.
  • If using glass shot glasses you will need to eat the pumpkin shots with a spoon, or run a knife or spoon around the jello to loosen it from the glass before taking it.
  • Not sure what to do with that leftover pumpkin puree? Make pumpkin cookies, pumpkin roll cake, or chocolate chip pumpkin bread.
