It is amazing how you can make so many things in an Instant Pot!!!! We love Shrimp Scampi, so we are SO trying this!
My husband and I can’t agree on whether this is better with rice or pasta, but we do agree the shrimp is awesome!
Absolutely yes!
It’s nice to try recipes on pasta that I haven’t experimented with yet, and this one deserves a lot!
Thank you
Yes, make sure it is frozen because I did not and my shrimp came out overcooked and tough. Ugh very disappointing. Next time I will definitely try frozen. The sauce was great!!
I have a question ! Cooked frozen shrimp or raw??
Raw frozen shrimp
Thank you! Trying it tonight! 😋
This was amazing. My first time doing it. I love garlic so I used a lot but kept everything else the same. This will be in my rotation from now on. Thank you so much. Oh and we ate it with the tricolor round pasta noodles from Costco. Mahalo for the recipe!
So glad that you enjoyed it!
One minute? Cooking time 1 minute? I’m reading that you use frozen shell on raw shrimp and cook it on the meat/stew setting for just 1 minute and then a natural release for 5 minutes. Surely that can’t be correct! Help! I don’t want to waste 2 pounds of shrimp!
Hi Marsha! For this recipe use peeled frozen raw shrimp and yes, just 1 minute cook time as the IP cooks the shrimp super quickly. Enjoy!
I have frozen unpeeled shrimp. Can I use it for this recipe?
Hi Olga! I have only used frozen peeled shrimp but I don’t think it should be an issue.
Tried this tonight…. since it was just me, I cut the recipe in half….. it was phenomenal, and so easy to make. Thank you.
So happy that you enjoyed it Mary!!
Can I used freeze dried garlic? Or in water minced garlic?
I haven’t tried making this dish with freeze-dried, but I have used the minced garlic that comes in a jar several times and it comes out great.
