Making Banana Pudding Cupcakes
You will also find a printable version of the recipe at the bottom of the post for your convenience.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line 2 muffin tins with cupcake liners. Place 1 vanilla wafer flat-side down in the bottom of each cupcake liner. Then, prepare cupcakes according to package instructions.
Next, combine banana pudding mix, milk, and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Whisk until thickened, about 5 minutes. Fold in chopped bananas.
Using a paring knife, cut small holes out of the top of cooled cupcakes. Fill holes with banana pudding mixture.
Now comes my favorite part of the recipe: topping the cupcakes with vanilla frosting using new Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags.
Filled with 16 oz. of Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Frosting, the same amount that comes in a traditional tub, Pillsbury Pastry Bags makes icing treats fun and easy.
Simply push the frosting down toward the tip and twist the top of the bag. Then, remove the plastic cover from the star tip. Now you are ready to begin the fun part! Frost your cupcakes by squeezing from the top of the pastry bag.
Finally, garnish each cupcake with a vanilla wafer and vanilla wafer crumbles.
Enjoy!
Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags
I am in love with the new Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags. They make frosting cupcakes, like a pro, possible even for the average baker.
Pillsbury Pastry Bags comes in three delicious Pillsbury Creamy Supreme flavors: Chocolate Fudge, Vanilla and Cream Cheese.
With the built-in star tip you can decorate your treats in various fun designs such as swirls, rosettes, stars, and waves.
Plus, the kids will love to help you out in the kitchen because frosting cupcakes with the Pillsbury Pastry Bag is super fun to do!
I shopped for the ingredients for this recipe, including the new Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags, at my local Stop & Shop. I always find what I need at a fair price at Stop & Shop, which is why it is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries.
Surprisingly, the Pastry Bags are very affordable and similar to the more traditional tubs of icing. For a product that makes frosting so much easier, I absolutely prefer Pastry Bags over traditional icing tubs and will continue using them on my baked goods in the future.
Be sure to stock up on Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags so that you will be ready with a great frosting solution for all your baking this fall. In addition to frosting cupcakes, Pillsbury Pastry Bags are also perfect for frosting cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. Whatever it is you are frosting, you will be able to frost like a pro easily thanks to Pillsbury Pastry Bags.
In addition to Stop & Shop, Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags are also available at Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, and Martin’s.
