The first step is to mash up those beautiful avocados. You can use a large fork or a wire whisk to mash those puppies up.

Then, add your other ingredients to the bowl and stir to mix well.

Pipe a bit more sour cream on top of the football to add the stitching.

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!

Tip: For a special treat, warm-up store-bought tortilla chips in the oven for a few minutes. Better yet, take the time to cut up some corn tortillas, brush with oil, and bake to make your tortilla chips. Either way, warm chips are always better!

  • ¼ cup white onion, diced
  • ½ of a jalapeno, seeded and finely diced*
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ½ cup sour cream

  • Use the remaining sour cream to add the stitching to the football.  Serve immediately.

Notes

*Adjust level of spiciness to your liking by using more less jalapeno.
