How to Make a Berry Trifle

Assembling your berry trifle is not only easy, but it is fun as well! Trifles are the type of dessert where you can let your creativity shine.

First, whisk together the pudding mix and milk.

Allow the pudding to set a few minutes while you slice up your strawberries.

I sliced most of my strawberries thinly so that they would look nice pressed up against the glass in the trifle dish. I cut a few of the smaller berries in half to use to decorate the top of the trifle.

Okay, now starts the fun part! It is time to start assembling the layers of your berry trifle.

First, cover the bottom of the trifle dish with NILLA Wafers.

Then, add a layer of pudding.

Next, add a layer of berries. I pressed a few strawberries down into the pudding so that they would press up against the glass all the way around the dish.

I am going to make this during the week, it looks amazing 🙂 And even better that it is no bake. I would make it today if I didn’t already have the day planned out (since today is Memorial Day), but a couple days late will work. They say better late then never, right?

I might try making my own whipped cream since I am not a big cool whip fan. I love the stuff in the can, but it just doesn’t layer well.

Wonder how this would be with lemon pudding..?
Also, I make this with bananas but use sugar free pudding and protein drink with some almond milk to make it more healthy. So far I have tried the healthier method with several people and they love it! They couldn’t tell the different and it cuts way down on the sugar and doubled the protein than if you used regular milk : )
I am eager to make the healthier berry rendiition tomorrow! I know it will be super good cuz we love the banana one!
