Caramel Apple Nachos

Apple Nachos

Whether you are looking for an easy snack idea for the family or for apple recipes to make with all the apples you bought home from apple picking, you are going to love this recipe.

Caramel apple nachos take just 10 minutes to make and taste amazing. It is kind of like eating a deconstructed caramel apple – yum!

Unlike many common apple desserts, apple nachos are a cool dessert, like Snickers apple salad.

How to Make Caramel Apple Nachos

Making apple nachos is as easy as slicing your apples, spreading them on a plate, and then add your desired toppings.

I used granny smith and red delicious apples, but you can use any apples. Whatever your family prefers or whatever you have on hand works.

Ingredients: 3 red apples, 3 green apples, chocolate chips, pecans, caramel sauce

We topped our caramel apple slices with chopped pecans, mini chocolate chips, caramel, and white chocolate. But you could switch up your toppings to include your family’s favorites.

Topping Ideas:

  • sprinkles
  • caramel sauce
  • melted chocolate
  • melted white chocolate
  • peanuts
  • chopped pecans
  • chopped walnuts
  • chocolate chips
  • marshmallows
  • crushed candy bars
  • pretzel pieces

The possibilities are endless. Use this recipe as a starting point and don’t be afraid to play around with different sauce and topping combinations.

The only thing I would do differently is I would be to toss the apple slices in lemon juice right away so they wouldn’t turn brown.
