Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • [¾ cup caramel sauce]
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp coarse sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine the milk chocolate chips, caramel sauce, milk, and heavy cream in your crockpot.
  • Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the chocolate is melted and the ingredients are combined and warmed through, stir in vanilla and sea salt. Serve warm.

    I made this for Halloween and handed out during trick or treating. It was a HUGE hit. I doubled the recipe and did add some more choc chips as I felt I only tasted caramel.

    Can you use semi-sweet chips for a richer chocolate flavor? I’m not a fan of milk chocolate.
