Fudge lasts a really long time, so it’s great for making in batches and freezing some for quick treats when the sweet cravings strike, last-minute guests, a bake sale, and easy dessert ideas throughout the holiday season.
Although the contrast of the white fudge with the chocolate Oreo is fun, you can also play around with the flavors. Milk chocolate chips and Golden Oreos, anyone?!

Ingredients for White Oreo Fudge
This section includes ingredient notes and substitution options. Get all measurements, ingredients, and instructions in the printable recipe card at the end of this post.
- Sweetened condensed milk – This is what makes fudge, creamy and fudgy! Condensed milk is made with milk with water removed, leaving behind a thick, creamy liquid, and then sugar is added to it.
- White chocolate chips – Serves as the base of the fudge and gives it a sweet and creamy taste. I recommend a high-quality brand such as Ghiradelli or Guittard. Semi-sweet chocolate chips could be used instead for a tasty twist.
- Oreo Cookies – You’ll need about a sleeve of Oreo cookies, but it’s always good to have more than you need. Crumble it or chop it into bite-sized pieces. Reserve some for the top.
How to Make Oreo Cookie Fudge
This section shows you how to make the recipe with step-by-step photos and instructions. For the full printable recipe, see the recipe card below.
Step 1: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the sweetened condensed milk for 1 minute. Add the chocolate chips to the warm condensed milk and stir until the chips melt. Heat for an additional 30 seconds, if needed, to ensure the chocolate is well melted.
Step 2: Stir in 1 and 1/4 cup the chopped cookies.
Step 3: Pour the chocolate mixture into a prepared 8×8 square pan lined with parchment paper and use an offset spatula to smooth it out into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining Oreos on top of the fudge.
Step 4: Let it sit at room temperature for about 2 hours until it’s solid. Then slice into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
Pro Tip:
Work fast! The creamy white chocolate fudge sets quickly, so be sure to add the oreo pieces in and on top immediately.
Storage
Fudge is best stored at room temperature, in an airtight container, where it will keep for up to 2 weeks.
To freeze your white chocolate Oreo fudge, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, either whole or in pieces, and transfer the fudge to a freezer bag. Keep it frozen for up to 3 months. Be sure to let it thaw it at room temperature before biting into it!
Recipe Tips
- Line the pan. Leave the parchment paper hanging over the sides. Use the flaps to lift the fudge out of the pan for easy lifting.
- Leave the fudge alone. As tempting as it is to cut your fudge and enjoy it ASAP, it needs time to fully set up.
- Use a larger dish. If you’re using a bigger pan, just remember that the fudge will be thinner.
- For clean edges and perfect texture, use a sharp knife and wipe the knife clean between each cut.

if you double ir triple this recipe, do you still use a 8×8 pan?
Use a 9×13 if you double the recipe. If you want to triple it I would use an 8×8 and a 9×13. Enjoy!
