Rainbow Pot of Gold Planter Instructions:
First, paint a popsicle stick each of the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Paint a second coat if needed to cover completely.
While your popsicle sticks are drying, paint the outside of the terra cotta pot green. No need to paint the inside unless you really want to.
Once dried, glue the popsicle sticks together side by side to form a rainbow using a hot glue gun.
Glue the rainbow at a bit of an angle to the inside of the back of the terra cotta pot as shown. It should look like the rainbow ends in the pot.
Next, pull apart a few cotton balls.
Glue the cotton balls to the top of the rainbow popsicle sticks to form a puffy cloud.
Now, wrap a piece of ribbon around the top lip of the terra cotta pot and use glue to secure in the back.
Finally, fill the pot with some plastic gold coins. If you are short on gold coins stuff the pot with some tissue paper so that you only need to use the coins to cover a thin layer on the top of the paper.
