This refreshing cucumber lime smoothie recipe combines cucumber and lime juice with honey and ice to create a flavor combination that will refresh you even on the hottest summer days.
Ingredients
2cucumberspeeled and chopped
½cupfresh lime juice
up to 2cupswater or iceto taste
up to ½cuphoney or sugar, to taste
small handful mintoptional
Instructions
Place cucumbers, lime juice, 1/2 cup water or ice, and 1/8 cup honey in a smoothie-style blender and puree until smooth.
Taste and mix in additional honey and/ or water as needed.
Garnish with a wedge of lime or sprig of mint (optional) and enjoy cold.
Notes
To cut down on calories you can skip the sugar or honey and and use stevia instead.
