These Loaded Cheeseburger Muffins come together in minutes and make for a fun and kid-friendly lunch or dinner recipe perfect for busy families.
Ingredients
½poundlean ground beefor ground turkey
½poundground sausageor turkey sausage
½cupchopped bacon
1largeonionchopped
1TablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1Tablespoonsoy sauce
3clovesgarlicminced
1cupshredded Cheddar cheese
Baking Mixture:
1cupall purpose flour
1Tablespoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
1largelarge egg
⅓cupmilk
⅓cupvegetable oil
Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium skillet, brown beef, sausage, garlic, and onion over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Drain. Return pan to burner and cook bacon. Allow to cool. Chop bacon and add to the meat mixture. Stir in Worcestershire and soy sauce, salt, and cheese. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the egg, milk, and oil and mix well to combine.
Spoon 1-2 Tablespoons of the baking mixture into each muffin cup. Top with about ¼ cup of the burger mixture. Then top with 1-2 more Tablespoons of the baking mixture.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until muffin tops are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with all your favorite cheeseburger fixings!
