This easy saltine cracker toffee recipe is sweet, salty, and crunchy with layers of crisp saltines, buttery homemade toffee, melted chocolate, and chopped pecans. A quick and irresistible Christmas candy that's perfect for gifting or snacking!
Ingredients
1sleeve saltine crackers, about 35 crackers
1cup(227g)butter
1cup(213g)light brown sugar, packed
2cups(340g)semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾cup(75g)chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400℉. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar. Stir until melted and smooth.

Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Once boiling, stop stirring. Boil for 3 minutes. Carefully pour hot toffee mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Let cool for 30 minutes at room temp, then refrigerate until fully set—about 2–3 hours. Once firm, cut into squares and enjoy!
