Soft and chewy M&M cookie bars packed with chocolate chips and colorful M&Ms. The easiest way to make 2 dozen cookies- perfect a birthday party, holiday, or bake sale!
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper (or foil) and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, or in large mixing bowl using a hand mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
With the mixer on low, add the dry ingredients a little at a time, mixing until just combined.
Fold in 1 cup of M&Ms and the chocolate chips.
Press the cookie dough evenly into the pan. Top with the remaining M&M’s.
Bake for 22-30 minutes, or until the top is golden, edges are lightly browned, and the center is just barely set. Set the pan on a cooling rack and allow to cool fully before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store at room temperature in an airtight container. You can also freeze the bars for up to 3 months.
