Instructions
In a small bowl, stir together the sauce ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
1 cup mayonnaise, 2 Tablespoons ketchup, 1 ½ Tablespoon dill pickle relish, 2 teaspoons yellow mustard, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef to the hot pan and spread it out as much as possible so it sears instead of steams. Avoid overcrowding the pan — if needed, cook the meat in two batches for better browning.
1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
Let the beef cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes. Then flip and break it apart with a spatula or meat chopper. Continue cooking until the beef is browned and no pink remains.
Drain off any excess grease. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then stir to combine.
½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper
Divide the lettuce between serving bowls. Top each with beef, tomatoes, cheese, dill pickles, onion, and any other toppings you like. Drizzle generously with the prepared sauce. Serve immediately.
6 cups lettuce, ½ cup sliced dill pickles, ¼ red onion, 8 ounces cherry tomatoes, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Notes
Store leftover beef, sauce, and toppings separately in airtight containers up to 3-4 days. Reheat beef before serving.
