Line a cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper and set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the candy melts for 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir. Continue to microwave in 15-second increments, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
Dip each Oreo into the melted red candy halfway and place on a lined cookie sheet.
Use a toothpick to place two dots of the melted candy on the top of the undipped portion of the cookie. Press candy eyes onto the red dots.
Allow to set for 15 minutes, or until the red candy coating has hardened.
Use an edible black marker to draw a line down the center of the red area and add a few hearts on each side of the line.
Notes
Black gel decorator icing can be used instead of the edible marker. However, the gel icing doesn’t harden completely, so be careful when storing or transporting if using this option.
