soft & thick cookies!

These jumbo bakery-style snickerdoodles are super soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside  - they are absolutely amazing!


Step 1

Stir together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

Cream the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing completely before adding another. Mix in the vanilla extract.

Mix in the flour mixture.

Step 4

Grab a medium bowl, and stir together the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.

Roll the dough into smooth balls, then roll the balls in the cinnamon mixture until well-coated.

Place them on the cookie sheet. Press down on them, gently to flatten them out to large flat circles.

Bake the cookies for 14-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
