The best southern praline recipe!


Step 1

In a pot, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, heavy cream, corn syrup, and salt.

Place over medium-low heat; let the butter melt and sugars dissolve, stirring occasionally.

Bring the sugar mixture to a boil. Stir occasionally.

Remove from the heat. Stir in the pecans and vanilla. Allow mixture to sit and cool.

Use a wooden spoon to stir the praline mixture for  a minute to help it cool further!

Dollop onto a lined large baking sheet and allow the candy to harden for at least 8 hours before serving or storing.
