The Importance of America’s Farmland and Community Gardens
Like Pure Farmland, preserving America’s farmland and community gardens is an issue that I take to heart.
I am very grateful that we live in an area with terrific farms that we can visit to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables. Not only is the produce from our local farms fresher–but it tastes better as well!
I believe that it is our duty to ensure that essential green spaces such as farmland and community gardens are here for our children and future generations to enjoy for years to come.
Pure Farmland couldn’t agree more, which is why they made it their mission to help support community gardens and farms across the nation.
Pure Growth Project
For each Pure Farmland product purchased, Pure Farmland donates the cost of protecting one square foot of American farmland through its partnership with the American Farmland Trust.
But the brand isn’t stopping there. Pure Farmland has also pledged a total of $100,000 in financial support to eligible community farms and gardens across the country via Community Garden Grants. The grants will range from a minimum of $1000 to a maximum of $20,000 each and the applications are due by July 31, 2020.
