If you follow this recipe as shown you’ll end up with a rubbery mess. Use large frozen shrimp for 0 minutes & quick release.. even then they’ll be almost over done. I also recommend adding pepper before pressure cooking.

  2. This was amazing. My first time doing it. I love garlic so I used a lot but kept everything else the same. This will be in my rotation from now on. Thank you so much. Oh and we ate it with the tricolor round pasta noodles from Costco. Mahalo for the recipe!

  3. One minute? Cooking time 1 minute? I’m reading that you use frozen shell on raw shrimp and cook it on the meat/stew setting for just 1 minute and then a natural release for 5 minutes. Surely that can’t be correct! Help! I don’t want to waste 2 pounds of shrimp!

  4. Tried this tonight…. since it was just me, I cut the recipe in half….. it was phenomenal, and so easy to make. Thank you.

  5. I feel like it came out pretty liquidy, I used the wine which does say optional but is there something I’m supposed to do to make sure it thickens?

    1. The sauce is rather liquidy. We spoon it over our shrimp and pasta and then love soaking it up with some french bread – yum! You can spoon the amount that you would like over the pasta (or rice) and shrimp and then leave the extra in the pot. Or you could try thickening it with a cornstarch slurry, although I haven’t tried this myself.
